John Paul II Catholic School joined the Island Catholic Schools’ family in September of 2005 with a student population of 40. We reside in the building formerly known as Smith Memorial School, which was a Catholic school from 1951 – 1976. We have three main classrooms: Primary with K – gr. 2, Intermediate with gr. 3-5, and Middle School with gr. 6-8. Our dedicated staff is able to meet the needs of our students whether they need extra help or extra challenges within this multi-graded system. We offer a full day Kindergarten, French, fine arts, technology, ESL opportunities, and P.E. Our staff is fully qualified and certified by the BC College of Teachers.
